Free Inspection FAQ
Is it really free? What’s the catch?
Really free, no catch. The only exception is a formal real estate inspection report for a transaction, which carries a modest fee because buyers and lenders require a specific written format. Everything else, including storm inspections, is free.
How soon can you come out?
Usually within 24 to 48 hours. Active leaks and open roofs get same-day response. After a major storm we prioritize by severity and give everyone an honest date.
Do I need to be home?
For the attic portion, yes, or arrange access. The attic is where leaks are confirmed and ventilation problems found, so we don’t skip it.
Will you push me to file an insurance claim?
No. If the photos show storm damage that justifies a claim, we’ll explain your options. If they don’t, we’ll tell you filing would be a mistake. We don’t get paid by the claim.
Do you inspect commercial roofs for free too?
Yes, for owners and property managers considering repair, restoration or replacement. Ongoing maintenance programs with scheduled inspections are a paid service.
